Caretaker/Site Technician job summary
Site Technician – Required asap
37hrs per week – All Year Round Permanent - Grade 14 – Job share or part time hours will be considered for the right candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Technician to oversee and support aspects of our events, premises and health and safety. The successful applicant will ideally have a range of building, facilities, repairs and maintenance skills and knowledge. In addition, IT skills, an ability to show initiative and ability to work as part of a supportive team showing commitment, drive and enthusiasm is required.
As one of the Site Technician’s at Selwood, you will ensure the environment, both inside and out, is maintained to a high standard that guarantees the site is fit for purpose and safe, thus enabling children to learn to their full potential. An early start is currently a necessity and as a key holder, responding to security call outs on a rota basis is expected. An opportunity to service Lettings and undertake overtime is offered on a rota basis also but are paid in addition to basic salary. Therefore, a flexible attitude to working hours is required and will be discussed further at interview.
