We are located close to the A38 and M1 and there is a large free staff car park. The role:
We are looking to appoint a casual Brass Tutor to join our team of peripatetic music tutors.
Ideally, we are looking to appoint someone able to teach a range of brass instruments, but applications for one will also be considered.
This role will teach 1-2-1 music classes to students from Ashfield School. There will also be opportunity for the post holder to run extra-curriculum activities for larger groups, as well as lead sporadic whole-class taster sessions to Year 7 classes, with agreement from the school’s leadership team.
The person:
This post will suit a dedicated and experienced instrumental tutor. The post holder will need to be able to integrate into our music community and be an effective communicator.
Previous experience of tutoring students from ages 11 - 16 is essential.
