New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (November 2023) and has a modern building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 9 years the school has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The school is now oversubscribed and our newest building, which opened September 2022, was to meet this demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the school is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.

We are seeking a number of Exam Invigilators & Reader/Scribes to expand our growing Exams team. This is a flexible role that provides full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and readily available during the main exam periods. Candidates will also need good organisational and communication skills.

During examinations you will supervise students taking internal and external examinations, in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Regulations.

These positions are on a casual, as required basis, throughout the academic year. Shifts will vary throughout the school day, either morning, afternoon or both. Invigilators are scheduled on a session by session basis and you will need to be able to start work at 8am. All new starters are required to attend a compulsory induction training day.
