Casual Exam Invigilators

Wood Green School is a large secondary school in Witney, West Oxfordshire. We are seeking reliable and committed individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. Invigilators are required during exam periods (February, April, May - July) and throughout the academic year.

You will also support candidates with exam concessions/access arrangements, for example by acting as a Reader, Scribe or Practical Assistant. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

We welcome applications from individuals who:

• Have good organisational skills
• Are willing to work as part of a team
• Can be flexible, punctual and reliable
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Can understand and adhere to exam regulations (training will be provided)
• Are confident and able to provide a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms

Pay and Commitment

• Pay Rate: Grade 2 - £14.51 per hour (including holiday pay)
• Commitment: Applicants must be available to work a minimum of three days per week during exam periods
• Applicants are expected attend an obligatory JCQ meeting on Wednesday 10th December 2025
