Casual Leisure Assistant job summary

The role of Leisure Assistant is a crucial position in the organisation requiring drive, enthusiasm and excellent attention to detail. With customer safety and experience at the forefront of your mind, you will need to be flexible and organised with a professional approach in supervising customers using the facilities. You will play an important part in the day to day running of the facility, as well as providing excellent customer service.

We are looking for team members that are highly motivated and enthusiastic in their approach, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, care, safety and security for all.

Core purpose  

  • Supervision of our Community & Leisure customers

    Supervision of all activities and to ensure the safe operation of the building and grounds

    Ensure safety of customers, staff and others.

    To advocate the ethos and values of the Trust at all times.

  • Effective communication skills

    Ability to demonstrate flexibility and commitment to the role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to promote effective working relationships

    The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
