Share your passion for music and inspire the next generation in a successful secondary school?

New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (November 2023) and has a modern building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 9 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and our newest building, which opened September 2022, was to meet this demand. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.

The successful candidate will have a passion for music with significant musical experience and capacity to teach to Grade 5 (theory and practical). You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and enthuse your students.

We are currently looking for a Singing Teacher, however our Music School is growing so we also encourage applications from candidates with any other instruments.

This role is on a casual basis and days are flexible. Music lessons run from 3:30pm to 7pm. All new starters are required to attend a compulsory statutory induction training.
