Are you looking to deliver music tuition in a flexible role in a successful secondary school?
New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (May 2018) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 8 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and our newest building, which opened September 2022, was to meet this demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.
The successful candidate will have a passion for music with significant musical experience and capacity to teach to Grade 6 (theory and practical). You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and enthuse your students.
This role is on a casual basis and we are flexible on days. Music lessons run from 3:30pm to 7pm.
