Part time Flexible working hours can be considered

- Dorset Grade 4, SCP 3. Currently £9.79 per hour, pay award pending
Casual Teaching Assistant job summary
Mountjoy School is seeking to increase their bank of Casual Teaching Assistants to work on an as and when basis.
Mountjoy School caters for pupils aged 2-19 years who may have severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autism. Whilst challenging, our work is immensely rewarding and all staff are supported in their professional development.
We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting young people who present with additional needs and has a strong understanding of child / learning development.
As a casual worker you are not an employee of the Council or the School and you are not entitled to any contractual benefits e.g. contractual sick pay.
There is no obligation for the School to provide work and no obligation for you to accept work when offered it
Applicants must have achieved a qualification in English/literacy and mathematics/numeracy, equivalent to at least Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework.
