About Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School and Sixth Form College

Tauheedul Islam Girls’ High School is a Muslim faith-based secondary school and sixth form for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with the highest Progress 8 score nationally for our 2018 GCSE results. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored Caual Tutor support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

An A Level qualification at grades A*- B.
GCSEs in English and Maths at Grades 9-7 or A*- A.
Ability to provide tuition on the subject to GCSE or A Level.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently.
Knowledge of the latest specification and tests in the subject.

Tauheedul Islam Girls’ High School and Sixth Form College in Blackburn is an 800 place 11-18 girls’ secondary school, which includes a 200 place sixth form. It is a specialist humanities school. Like all Star schools, it also has “Leadership” as a specialism.
