We are excited to seek applicants for the role of Catering Assistant, to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School.

The salary for this post is Grade 1, Scale Point 2. Working hours will be 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, plus 5 INSET days. The pro-rata salary is £9,301. The full-time equivalent salary is £23,656.

Main purpose of the job:

To work as part of the team and contribute to the achievement of it's objectives, providing an effective and efficient catering service. This includes preparing and serving food, maintaining the associated catering areas in accordance with food hygiene regulations.

Key Relationships:

The post holder will report to the School Cook Manager and work closely with catering team members and lunchtime organisers.
