- Previous Catering Experience
- Experience of using Library Management Systems
- A proven experience of working under pressure.

- Must be a team player and willing to take on additional tasks to get the job done.

Further details about the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible person with an excellent approach to customer service, to provide assistance with general kitchen duties. This role also includes handling deliveries on a daily basis from suppliers and lifting and moving heavy items into storerooms.
Purpose of Role:
To assist the Head Chef with the preparation and service of school meals and beverages to an excellent standard, and to provide a professional impression to all visitors, parents, pupils and staff. In addition, as a member of the catering staff, to undertake a range of duties within the kitchen and any ancillary duties to support the operation of the school.
- Working with the Head Chef to ensure deliveries are checked and correctly stored.
- Work with the team of staff to assist with the food preparation for the pupil’s meals.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the pupils to promote healthy eating.
- Assist with the cleaning and clearing after each sitting.
- Other duties reasonable to assist the smooth operation of the Canteen.
We are happy to explore flexible working, subject to the operational requirements of the role.
