Caister Primary Federation consists of four schools – Caister Infant and Junior Schools, Rollesby & Hemsby Primary schools. The meals for all schools are provided by CPF catering services, based in Caister. We are looking for an individual to join our existing team to deliver the meals to Hemsby Primary School, then onto Rollesby Primary School to deliver, then serve the meals on a daily basis at Rollesby Primary School. Hours of work, 10.45am - 2pm, Monday - Friday.

The role would include:

  • Use of your own vehicle, with business insurance
  • Mileage payable at 45p per mile
  • Completion of Food Hygiene Certificate

This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering you a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro rata, you will receive 1/12th of your salary every month, regardless of whether its school holidays or not!

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting with the preparation and serving of lunches which have been cooked off site for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding our high level of hygiene and cleanliness is vital which includes setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas, so they are ready to enjoy mealtimes and tidying away once service is completed.

If you have previous catering experience, then we would love to hear from you. However, we have worked hard to create an extensive induction and excellent training programmes that means if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!
