Catering Assistant job summary

The aim of the role is to assist in the provision of a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service.This includes assisting with the washing up during and after break/lunch service, keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy and to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.

The successful candidate should have a keen interest in catering and the important role it plays in school life, together with a passion for food production and customer service.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day, 15 hours a week , term time only plus inset days.

We are looking for a strong team player who is able to work cooperatively with colleagues and understand what good customer service really means.
