Catering Assistant job summary
Role details:
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daily, starting as soon as possible.
Term-time, plus one week (training days)
Grade B2 £15,876.48 per annum pro rated, FTE £22,366.00

Role Purpose
You will be an integral part of the catering team at King's Lynn Academy and will undertake a variety of tasks including the preparation of food, cleaning duties and serving customers.
You will report into the Cook Manager and will contribute to the smooth running of the catering provision to ensure that all students and staff have access to high quality, nutritious and good value food during breaks and the lunch period.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience of working in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable; the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team is essential.
This role will involve the handling of chemicals involved in the cleaning process, although personal protective equipment will be provided.
An enhanced DBS check is required for all roles with the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust.
