Catering Assistant job summary
At Ormiston Maritime Academy (OMA), we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Catering Assistant to provide catering support, delivering the day to day provision of catering services while ensuring a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Catering Team and duties will include:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of hot and cold fool and beverages
- Use kitchen equipment for food preparation
- Undertake cleaning and washing up as directed in the kitchen and serving areas
- Follow food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSSH regulations at all times
- Assist in proper storage and stock control of materials and foodstuff
- Operate the cashless register
