Catering Assistant job summary

We are seeking to recruit a catering assistant to work during the school day . The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to manage their workload effectively. Experience of working in a similar position or in a school would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The Catering Assistant will provide support in all aspects of our busy kitchen with food preparation, clearing and serving break snacks and lunch to our students.

This role is working for 22.5 hours per week (9.45am-2.15pm Mon-Fri), term time plus 1 week (39 working weeks). This post is a 1 year fixed term contract.

It is situated in Chichester in West Sussex and there are 600 pupils on its roll.

The Trust’s vision is for all young people to have access to the highest academic, social and practical skills required to achieve their full potential. OAT support all staff so that they can enhance and develop their professional skills whatever their role within the trust.
