What skills and experience we're looking for
Main duties and responsibilities are indicated here. Other duties of an appropriate level and nature will also be required.
- assist the Catering Manager in the serving of school meals.
- support the Catholic ethos of our school,
- experience working in a school kitchen
- prepare the dining area by setting out dining furniture, cutlery and associated materials and to clean the dining room furniture and clear away after use.
- assist in the preparation, cooking and service of food.
- assist with the removal of food leftovers and other rubbish.
- be aware of the provisions of Health and Safety legislation and to carry out all duties in a manner which complies with Health and Safety provisions and St. Anthony’s Policies and Practices documents.
- report and breakages and or equipment breakdowns, maintenance problems and energy leaks to the Catering Manager.
- ensure the most economical use of all materials and equipment.
· clean the dining area and kitchen and ancillary rooms.
