Catering Assistant job summary
30 hours per week, between
the hours of 8.30am to 3.00pm
Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks). Grade A – Step 1 - Full
Time Equivalent Salary £20,258, Actual Salary £14,087.76.

We are looking for someone to join our team at Deer Park Secondary School in our
busy, fast paced kitchen. Working under the direction of the Catering Manager to help
prepare, cook and serve food and drink to students and staff. In addition, you
will be required to prepare and dismantle eating areas and carry out cleaning
duties whilst maintaining high quality standards of health, hygiene and safety. The successful candidate will ideally have the
Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, although training is available if necessary.
Applicants successfully shortlisted will be expected to complete a working interview as part of the interview process.
