Required for an ASAP start we are seeking to appoint a Catering Team Leader on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will assist the Catering Manager on a day-to-day basis and be responsible for managing the kitchen in the absence of the Catering Manager. The role will involve working with the Catering Manager to develop an excellent catering service within the Academy, including assisting with the planning of weekly menus, planning meals for staff and students with dietary requirements and the training and supervision of all staff within the Catering Team.
Please see the full job description for further details on the role. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 7:30pm – 2:00pm.
The successful candidate will:-
- · Be confident with the ability to lead and manage staff within the Catering team;
- · Have strong knowledge and understanding of dietary requirements;
- · Have a good understanding of Health & Safety regulations (HACCP, COSHH);
- · Have good organisational skills;
- · Have good interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with customer queries;
- · Have the ability to undertake good record keeping.
