Catholic Primary School Headteacher job summary
The Directors of The Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Company (PFMAC), in partnership with the Governing Body of St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, are seeking to appoint an outstanding Headteacher who will lead this popular, vibrant faith school and nursery whilst inspiring its children, staff and families ‘to be the best they can be’.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future growth of this thriving school and nursery as it has recently joined The Pope Francis Catholic MAC (January 2021) - a large family of Catholic schools based in Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate should be a practising Roman Catholic, highly passionate about religious education and the Catholic life within our school and nursery, and be able to work closely with the RE subject leader and our Parish Priests.

• A strong, ambitious leader to build on the many strengths of the school and maintain a warm and friendly environment in which our pupils feel safe and valued
• A passionate and experienced educator who will continue to raise standards and further enhance our curriculum to enrich the lives of all our pupils
• Someone who will continue to develop the positive relationships that exist between our families, key stakeholders and the Diocese
• Someone who is fully committed to safeguarding, inclusivity, equality and ensuring the removal of barriers to learning for all our pupils
