Welfare:
To be our TrustMental Health First Aider, offering 1:1 sessions and drop-ins at each school.Coordinate"safe space"sessions for DSLs and SLTs across the Trust with our external providers.Organisesocial eventsto help people across the trust get to know each other.

Facilitate the connection ofsubject leadersacross the trust to share ideas and reduce workload.To develop & promote ourPurpose Statementsas Golden Threads between our schools.To ensure that English & mathsmoderationtakes place across The Trust.
Teaching Support:
To drive up standards byteam teachingandin-class coaching.Toobserve teachingand carry out thematic work to explore patterns across the TrustTo observe allUPS teachers(at least once a year) and report to the CEO & trustees.To participate in AnnualPeer reviewsTo work with the trust EA to organise theTrust-wide fortnightly 30-minute CPD Snapshots
Leadership
To contribute to the half-termCEO summary lettersto our schools.To be the Executive lead at theEducation & Standards committee& on somepolicies.To Act as Trust HQDDSL & EVCTo analyse the termlydata dropsat each school and provide a written summary of MAT trends.Attend (and deputise) termlyCEO Pupil Progress meetings& offer support/ interventions.

Qualifications & Experience
A degree, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of strong teaching.Experience in a leadership role within a school setting (e.g., subject lead, phase leader, or assistant head).Experience in analysing data and using it to drive school improvement.Knowledge of safeguarding proceduresSkills & AbilitiesStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across schools.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting staff well-being and mental health.Ability to lead and inspire others, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.Personal QualitiesA passionate advocate for staff and pupil well-being.A strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset.Approachable, empathetic, and able to build trust with colleagues.Highly motivated, with a commitment to driving educational excellence.Flexible and adaptable, willing to travel across the Trust's schools.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working across multiple schools or within a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).Demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring, or supporting staff development.Knowledge of mental health first aid or a willingness to undertake training.Experience in organising and leading events or initiatives.Familiarity with curriculum development and purpose-driven teaching.Experience in coordinating educational visits (EVC) or willingness to train.Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or willingness to train.NPQ
