Central Facilities Lead job summary
Our Estates team is really excited to offer this new role suited to you if you have an existing facilities background. The salary offered to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience.
Your role will involve working with the Head of Estates providing a range of support to our growing portfolio of schools. You’ll have the confidence to be professionally accountable for progressing aspects of our planned development strategy and the operational delivery of a full range of facilities management services across the Trust. This will include oversight of the statutory, planned and reactive maintenance of assets, ensuring efficient and reliable operations, health and safety and compliance matters.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem solving skills allied with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of external contractors / providers.
You will already have estates knowledge to allow you to offer guidance and advice to schools (about their buildings and services) as well the agility to coordinate capital projects supported by the Head of Estates. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our compliance database and deputising for the Head of Estates will be required.
The role will be office based, but with regular travel to our Trust schools. Full training on the Trust’s compliance system will be provided however you will be confident in the use of general office (Google / Microsoft) software.
