The Pioneer Academy are looking for a Central Finance Manager to join their growing finance team, this role will cover our four schools in our Bexley Region and you will work as part of a team with a Central School Business Manager. This role is fixed term until Summer 2025, full time, 36 hours per week working Monday to Friday. This is a on-site role working to a timetable with your team to ensure schools have support each day.
For internal applications from existing staff, this role would be as a secondment until Summer term 2025, please send a letter of interest to the recruitment team.
Main Purpose
Ensuring effective operation of the finance function of the school
Assisting the Head of Business with all aspects of the development of school finances
Ensuring the safe receipt and handling of cash and the reconciliation of transactions
Co-ordinating and completing administrative routines relating to orders, invoices, cheques, income, payroll and the receipt and distribution of goods and services
