Chef Manager job summary
We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager to join our friendly team, who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We serve thousands of meals every day across the UK and want this exceptional service to our schools and colleges to continue.
We therefore need you to be well presented, organised and possess great communication skills and have a genuine passion for what you do. We really want you to demonstrate a real passion for food and service, having worked in a similar environment at a similar level. The role will be hands on, working with your team and having sound health and safety and food safety knowledge. You must also be able to cook.
Working hours will be: Monday - Friday - 7:15am - 2:15pm - 35 hours per week, Term time plus 5 cleaning days

The Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen is required.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- To perform duties as directed by the Area Manager
- Conduct stock takes and ordering products via the online portal
