Taverham High School is a popular and successful 11-18 academy on the outskirts of Norwich. With the success of our school's in-house catering the governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic Chef Manager to join our hardworking, committed and enthusiastic team. The responsibility of managing the kitchen is job shared with the Assistant Cook on Thursday and Fridays.
The Chef Manager is responsible for the management of the catering service within the school, including food hygiene, menus, budgets, cooking, management of staff and all day to day operations of the catering service.
We are looking for a Chef Manager who:
- has a positive approach to menu planning and developing of the catering service, acting as a role model for team members and pupils
- has a professional, enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards all customers
- has a flair and enthusiasm for cooking with fresh quality ingredients with an eye for detail and food presentation .
