Chemistry Teacher job summary
A well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry is required at this very successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading. Applicants need to be able to teach Chemistry throughout the school including A Level and Science at KS3. Kendrick School is a centre of academic excellence with a track record of high performance and achievement. The Chemistry Department has benefitted from Specialist School status and there are large numbers of students who study the subject at A Level with many students going on to study Chemistry related subjects at university.
This position would suit a recently qualified teacher or more experienced teacher who is able to impart passion and enthusiasm for the subject to highly motivated, creative and engaging students. Kendrick School has a very good track record of developing NQTs and the successful candidate would be joining a supportive and experienced department. There would be opportunities for professional development within the department and the school as a whole.
