Chemistry Teacher job summary

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is seeking to appoint a capable and ambitious Chemistry teacher. The ideal candidate will know their subject but we are especially keen to attract candidates who perhaps are early in their teaching career or returning to the profession and want to develop their skills within a thriving and supportive Science Department.

Commitment to safeguarding

As a school we take safeguarding issues very seriously. The following gives an overview:
Safeguarding procedures in school are overseen by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with a lead Governor responsible for ensuring that these procedures are in place and are monitored regularly.
The school has a designated DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and a Safeguarding Team who meet regularly to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff have received recognised training in safeguarding and child protection.
All staff, including non-teaching staff know the procedures for reporting safeguarding or welfare concerns
