Chief Executive Officer, Unity MAT job summary

The Chief Executive Officer will be an outstanding strategic leader who is able to realise the vision, values and ethos of Unity MAT, ensuring all non education functions within the MAT are delivered on time and on budget thereby liberating the Head Teachers to focus on achieving an outstanding teaching and learning provision.

The CEO will have experience of a successful CEO or Main Board role in a rapid growth environment ideally with an educational or service provision setting, to enable them to take responsibility for the performance of all Academies within the Trust from day one.

YOU WILL BE

A strategic business leader responsible for managing the organisation of the Trust and its Academies to realise the vision and strategy agreed by the Trust Board:-
•A Special Multi Academy Trust (which) will create centres of educational excellence where our young people will achieve outstanding outcomes, to springboard into exceptional lives.

Working along side the educational leaders, but taking responsibility for all non-education matters to deliver:-
•Appropriate growth and expansion of Unity MAT, to targets agreed by the Trust Board (the overriding objective is to increase the MAT by one Academy per year, year on year)
•Ensure effective collaboration across the Trust, including the development of shared services, to deliver an efficient, effective and lean organisation.
