What skills and experience we're looking for

The Trustees of Orwell Multi Academy Trust (OMAT) are seeking an exceptional finance lead to guide our Trust through the next stage of development.

You will work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Trust Board to ensure that every child in an OMAT school has an inspirational learning journey and is well prepared for the next stage in their academic career.

This is a strategic role with a strong emphasis on delivering outcomes and managing resources effectively across the Trust. You will lead the finance team to ensure that each of our seven primary schools has what they need to deliver exceptional outcomes for all of our pupils.

We are looking for a finance lead who is a role model for others. You will have a track record of delivering strategic goals, strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence to inspire others. Ideally you will have already worked in a senior role in education and understand the challenges involved in leading through change, and balancing resources.

The role is based at our headquarters in Ipswich and the ability to travel to all of our schools is essential.
