Chief Operating Officer job summary

In line with the trust growth model, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business leader to provide operational leadership in the post of Chief Operating Officer. The postholder will work closely with leaders to create a cohesive approach to the delivery of our strategic and operational plans, developing high quality services that underpin school improvement.

The postholder will work with the CEO, Board of Directors, Local Governing Bodies and staff to deliver the Trust’s vision, aims and objectives through motivational leadership, clear strategic direction, demanding and measurable targets with rigorous plans for monitoring and quality assurance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dynamic leadership and professional management to the trust business operations including HR, IT and Estates services.
