We are on the lookout for a talented and organised professional who’s ready to join our Trust’s Executive Leadership Team providing exceptional services throughout the Trust.
In the role of Chief People Officer you will provide Trust wide strategic leadership on Employment Law and best people practices. This is a role which will celebrate your leadership skills as well as your experience of leading change and improvement.

As Chief People Officer, you'll report directly to the CEO and bring a strategic vision for human resources within our educational context. Your role will focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), creating an environment where all staff and educators feel valued, empowered, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy.
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and positive work environment.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Design professional development programmes for growth and effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leadership and staff.
- Ensure operational excellence in People functions.
Our Chief People Officer will have the ability to inspire others to work innovatively to achieve the best for the AEG team, the children and their communities.
About You:
We're looking for someone with proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, who has successfully led DEI initiatives. You should have excellent strategic planning skills, strong HR knowledge, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
