Children Looked After Officer job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our wonderful school as Children Looked After Officer to make a real difference to the lives of young people, working in partnership with families, parents, carers and students to remove barriers to learning and facilitate high levels of engagement for students who need extra help.
A key part of the inclusion team the postholder will support student attendance, wellbeing and safeguarding to ensure students maximise their learning and the positive impact on school. The postholder will also act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong moral purpose so that every child can achieve their dreams and goals. They will have successful experience of directly working with students, parents, carers, colleagues and external agencies, identifying interventions to raise attendance and improve the welfare of students.
