The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset, including Chudleigh Knighton CE Primary School.
Chudleigh Knighton CE Primary School is a small, rural primary school set in the beautiful village of Chudleigh Knighton on the very edge of the Dartmoor National Park, with easy access to the A38/M5.
The school is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant supporting SEND including 1:1 provision and to work across the school to support teaching and learning. The school provides a secure, nurturing and challenging learning environment with a family atmosphere, where the children come first and has an excellent partnership with parents/carers and the local community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum, and a wonderful team of supportive staff . There are strong links through the Multi Academy Trust where there is continual collaboration linked to teaching and learning.
- To deliver targeted interventions.
- To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
- To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
- You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
30 hours per week, term time only; part time hours considered
This is a temporary position until August 2025, linked to SEN across the school.
