Class Teacher 0.4 FTE
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a part-time 0.4 FTE Class Teacher, based at Queens Crescent School, on a fixed-term contract.
Hours: Thursday and Friday all day
The fixed-term contract will start on 1st January 2023 and will end on 31st August 2023.
Salary: M1-M6, 25,714 - £36,961 per annum pro rata (£10,285-£14,784 actual salary),depending on experience.
Queen’s Crescent School is a two-form entry primary school, based in Chippenham with over 400 pupils on roll across 14 classes. In 2014 the school became a single academy trust and subsequently joined Pickwick Academy Trust in 2017 as one of the four founding schools.Queen’s Crescent is a vibrant school and our energetic, caring and positive staff are committed to providing the best primary education for all of our children.
Children learn best when they feel happy and safe, so we aim to provide a nurturing environment that allows children to succeed but also feel safe to make mistakes along the way. Our curriculum is broad and balanced, delivered by means of stimulating learning enquiries that build on prior knowledge and skills, preparing each individual for the next phase of their education and life beyond school. We are currently investing significantly in our IT infrastructure and technology to support the delivery of the curriculum enabling our teachers to teach in new and dynamic ways which in turn results in fantastic outcomes for our children.

The selection process will include a lesson observation and a formal interview.
