Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2026 in the first instance.

Part time: 0.4 worked over 2 afternoons (Year 5 & 6) (Wednesday & Thursday) and all day Friday (Reception / Year 1)


We’re looking for an conscientious and enthusiastic teacher to join our "small school with a big heart" to teach in our Reception / Year 1 Class on Friday and to teach our Year 5 / 6 class on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.


At Selattyn C.E. Primary School our vision is to nurture each individual in our care, giving them the skills, resilience and hope to succeed and flourish, both academically and spiritually. Our vision and values are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking to appoint a teacher who is passionate about ensuring our children have engaging and ambitious opportunities.


At present there are 77 pupils on role, from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. Amongst our pupils, we have several who have chosen us for our nurturing learning environment, strong pastoral care, and consistent outstanding behaviour. Our small school provides pupils with a sense of security and belonging.


Our candidate will be:

  • Knowledgeable about primary curriculum content and pedagogy
