What skills and experience we're looking for

We are located near the beautiful conservation area of Baffins Pond and Langstone Harbour and are fortunate enough to have a large green space of our own and outdoor learning facilities that provide endless opportunities. We aim to give children learning and life experiences that inspire and motivate and as the school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment we offer a welcoming and safe environment to enable children achieve their full potential.

Our children are taught the skills that will carry them through life as confident, happy and resourceful individuals. We are a ‘Learning’ community where children and adults alike, seek chances to further their knowledge. This is an Academy where children are encouraged to take risks and own their learning so that they develop a passion for enquiry.

The Academy is a positive and active place to work and we are looking to appoint an experienced teacher for a Key Stage 2 class with a view to continuing to December 2024 subject to funding. We believe that success here is built on strong relationships between everyone involved in the academy.

We are seeking highly motivated, experienced and positive class teacher from 01 January 2025 until August 2025 with a view to continue subject to funding. If you can demonstrate good to outstanding classroom practice, we would like to hear from you and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers.
