Greenvale Primary School is a one form of entry school, situated on the outskirts of Croydon, Surrey on a large site with extensive outside green space. The school benefits from having a Forest School and close relations with The ARC, an exotic animal centre who run educational sessions for children. We pride ourselves on the high expectations and strong family atmosphere.
We have a very experienced and committed staff who are always keen to develop themselves and provide support to colleagues where necessary. We offer lots of opportunities to develop your career as a teacher and a leader through local CPD and links with schools both in the UK and abroad. This year, our children will have the opportunity to learn about sustainability and Forest learning through our ‘Green at Greenvale’ project. This will include a visit to Sweden for 32 pupils!
We achieved ‘Good’ in our last Ofsted inspection in May 2023. The inspector picked up on our strong family ethos. Other key highlights were that ‘Pupils know that staff are here to help them do their very best’ and described the school as a place where children can learn and have fun.
