Class Teacher job summary
Primary Class Teacher + Subject lead responsibility (with additional TLR payment)
Earlham Primary is recruiting for four full time class teachers to start in September 2024 (M1 to M6 on the main pay scale).
These roles are suitable for those on the Main Pay Scale and ECT candidates who are at the start of their careers and looking to develop their leadership skills.
Salary (depending on teaching experience):
To be discussed with the co-heads when visiting the school.
Closing date for application forms: Midnight, 16th May 2024
Shortlisting: Friday, 17th May 2024 (Candidates will be informed by 15:00 if they have been invited for an interview).
Interview dates: Wednesday 22nd May 2024 and Thursday 23rd May 2024
Successful candidates will be expected to:
teach a 30 minute English / maths lesson (either year 2, 3 or 4 - candidates will be informed ahead of time which year group)
take part in a 15 min role play activity (to be shared on the day)
take part in a 45 min interview

Visiting the school:
Visits to the school are highly encouraged and can be scheduled anytime between the 6th May 2024 to the 15th May 2024. Visits will include a tour around the school, a discussion with the one (or both) of the head teachers or members of the senior leadership team. Visits will last approximately 45 minutes.
