What skills and experience we're looking for

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eight Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham.

The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families.

As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. We therefore hope that all staff will give their full, unreserved and positive support for the aims and ethos of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.

The Executive Principal and staff are exemplary role models, they communicate their faith through their care and love of their children. Their supportive relationships model themselves on Christ, enabling Holy Cross School to be fully inclusive, providing outstanding pastoral care to pupils.’ S48 February 2022

‘This is a welcoming school. Pupils, parents and staff all feel part of the Holy Cross family. Pupils are happy.

They love their school and are proud to be a pupil here. Children settle quickly into the early years

because of the nurturing environment that staff have created.’ Ofsted December 2022

‘Pupils are exceptionally well behaved. They have strong, respectful relationships with adults and each other.’

Ofsted December 2022

The support that leaders provide for pupils with SEND is highly effective. Leaders have the same high aspirations for

pupils with SEND as for other pupils. Staff swiftly identify pupils who need extra support. Leaders then carefully check that

the right support is in place for these pupils. This ensures that pupils with SEND are included in all aspects of

school life and achieve well. Ofsted December 2022
