About the roles

Staynor Hall Community Primary Academy are looking to welcome a Class Teacher into their supportive and friendly team, this is to teach in Reception and lead across EYFS. This position is a full-time, permanent contract.

We are looking for an aspirational EYFS Lead and Reception class teacher who strives for the best outcome for every child within their class, who makes learning fun and engaging and who places a large emphasis on the wellbeing of our children.

As an EYFS Lead and Class Teacher at Staynor Hall Community Primary Academy, you will be passionate about Early Years and understand the importance of them and how they shape and form the children's experiences throughout their time within our school.

You will have a friendly, warm, and approachable disposition, you will be a good role model and have the ability to lead our Early Years team by example.

A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and experience within Early Years is essential to this role.

Job requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

As the EYFS Lead, you will take the overall responsibility over Tiny Steps, Nursery, and Reception classes. This will include ensuring there are high standards of teaching and learning within Early Years.

You will lead our EYFS Team to ensure we provide excellent learning opportunities through a varied, stimulating, and exciting curriculum.

You will ensure that all children are able to learn and achieve their best, and you will support staff in ensuring that activities are accessible and differentiated for all children within our care.

You will actively develop strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community opening up opportunities for our Early Years children within their community and experience a variety of life experiences.

As the Lead you will act as a Line Manager for all Foundation Stage staff, this will include encouraging them to develop their own knowledge of EYFS, handling performance management and the day to day running of the EYFS.

You will work closely with and will be well supported within this role by our Senior Leadership Team.
