The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and determined Key Stage 2 leader to make a real difference in the lives and achievement of our pupils. Thirsk Community Primary School serves the market town of Thirsk. The school was judged by Ofsted in March 2018 to Require Improvement and Leaders and Governors of the school have worked hard to move the school forward. The successful candidate will form part of a Leadership team committed to further improving our school. The school has recently made a significant change in how Maths is taught throughout the school and part of our McKie Mastery approach has implemented clear strategies for the teaching of Mathematics
