What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated class teacher from October 2023; someone with drive, a passion to make a difference and a love of learning. We aim for the children’s learning experiences to be engaging, creative and thought provoking. We believe every child deserves excellent teaching and curriculum provision so that they progress and succeed.

You will have a secure knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and will have high expectations for pupils’ academic achievement and personal development. You are able to inspire, challenge and motivate pupils to excel, providing them with the support and encouragement needed for them to gain confidence and independence. You are able to adapt teaching and learning approaches to provide an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

What the school offers its staff

As a school, we are committed to providing children with a safe, stimulating and positive learning culture. We live by our school values of ‘Believe, Inspire, Achieve’.

As a professional and dedicated staff team we collaborate to secure high quality provision for children, working together to share expertise. You will benefit from being able to work as part of a year team, with a dedicated Year Leader and access to a Pastoral Team offering support and advice. We work in partnership with parents and the wider community for success and the continued safeguarding of pupils.

The School is part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust family. Each academy has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued and proud to be part of the Trust. There are a range of professional development opportunities available within our school and as part of the Trust.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ADVERT MAY CLOSE EARLIER, DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS. YOU ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
