Birch Hill is a popular two form entry primary school with a Nursery. The school is well resourced and has extensive outside space including an ‘Edible Playground’. There are currently 400 children on roll. In September 2021, we are also opening a Specialist Resource Provision (ASD/MLD) unit.

Birch Hill Primary was judged Good in our Ofsted report (October 2019).

Our report acknowledges:

• Teachers make lessons interesting, pupils learn quickly and have a wide range of opportunities.

• Pupils say they have lots of friends and they feel safe.

• The school is at the centre of the community.
