What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Class Teacher in our infant school, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. You will plan and deliver exciting lessons, assess children’s progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the development of each child.
You will be:
- an exemplary classroom teacher who engages and inspires all children
- an excellent role model for children and staff;
- friendly, nurturing and approachable to all stakeholders within the school;
- flexible and able to work effectively alongside our passionate and dedicated team;
- a person with high expectations of pupils and high aspirations for all pupils;
- an excellent communicator with a high standard of spoken English;
- self-motivated and resilient with the energy to bring our curriculum alive;

Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten is a large Infant School with a Children’s Centre on site. Our positive and inclusive ethos nurtures the development of respectful, resilient children within a safe, caring and happy environment.
We were judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in April 2023 with the first line of the report reading “Children have a wonderful time at this fun nursery”.
