What skills and experience we're looking for

We welcome applications from experienced professionals and Early Career Teachers alike. Whether you specialise in KS21 or KS2, all applicants are welcome. Our priority is that you are positive, reflective and keen to make a difference to the delightful children in our care.

At this point, we can be flexible about which key stage our successful candidate would prefer to teach in.

What the school offers its staff

Our unique school is built on the site of Beatrix Potter’s childhood home. We have a wonderful building, beautiful grounds, outdoor theatre space, new allotment and our own beehives! After a busy few years, and having had our Ofsted inspection last September, we are looking forward to an exciting future ahead. Would you like to come and join us?

We prioritise a broad and deep curriculum; creativity lies at our heart. We have specialists who teach PE, Dance, Music and Spanish and our two form entry status means that you will quickly become part of a close knit team who will support you at every step.
