Class Teacher job summary
Chesswood Junior school is a very ambitious school and expect the very best for every child. As such, we are seeking a highly talented teacher who is newly or recently qualified. The post would be particularly suited to teachers trained and/or experienced at any stage of the primary age range and have sustained good and outstanding learning within their classroom (including teaching practice). Chesswood is a large school, with many talented teachers. We are very committed to initial teacher training programmes, as a result almost all teachers are in a good position to provide the necessary support and guidance to teachers in the early years of their career. The school benefits from a very wide range of high-quality resources; enormous school grounds and above all a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We believe we have everything you need to take the next successful steps in your career.
If you:
• are highly motivated and committed to excellence for all children…
• are confident in your ability to sustain transformational teaching, removing frustrations and barriers to learning for all children, building confidence and engagement as part of everyday classroom practice….
• have consistently high expectations of all pupils through an unshakable belief that children can achieve above and beyond what is thought possible…
• hold strong primary practice values e.g. celebrating and displaying children’s work creatively, vibrantly and publicly…
we would love to hear from you!
