At Christ Church New Malden CofE Primary School, we are looking for a passionate class teacher to deliver a high standard of lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school. Why choose us: Founded over 150 years ago, by the local church that shares its name, Christ Church sits in the heart of a warm and happy community. The school is located on two sites where each site (Infants and Juniors) focuses on the unique needs of its age group; a two-form intake school that is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to create planning teams in order to share insights and expertise. Our school is often described by parents as a ‘village school’ and we have a school dog, Eddie, and two micro pigs, Dotty & Truffle, as well as a wildlife garden and a playing field. Christ Church is an outstanding Church School where the Christian values on which it is founded “unite and inspire both adults and learners.” SIAMS. In our Ofsted, October 2022, the school was graded as good overall and the report stated that “Pupils are proud of their school. They are happy and safe in this nurturing environment." We pride ourselves on our strong ethos of inclusion and diversity and are a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. Our school community is committed and fully engaged: our wonderful Parent Teacher Association work tirelessly and successfully to fundraise and the governors who are constructive and positive; we enjoy strong links with many local churches with clergy leading assemblies once a week. We can offer you a setting that is committed to empowering both children and adults to ‘Become the people God made us to be’ with excellent career prospects for teachers who wish to develop to be leaders of the future and very close links with neighbouring schools for training and sharing of ideas.
