Class teacher job summary
Churchfields Primary School is seeking excellent classroom teachers to join our strong and highly motivated team.
Churchfields is a two form entry primary school in Beckenham, south east London. We are close to Kent House station (just 20 minutes train journey from Victoria). We are lucky to enjoy a bright, modern building and grounds with lots of open space including great play spaces, a large field and a Forest School.
We are passionate about children achieving their best and enjoying their learning. We focus on high quality learning and teaching and also seek to develop and enhance independent lifelong learning skills through our Excellent Learner Behaviours. We have specialist teaching for art, computing, PE and languages.
We also have a small specialist unit with two classes for children with severe and complex learning difficulties.
We are part of the Quality First Education Trust, a growing multi-academy trust with four south London primary schools (The Alton School, Belleville Primary, Belleville Wix Academy and Churchfields Primary), as well as Teaching School and Maths Hub designations. We have opportunities across our Trust.
This is an exciting time for us and we want the best people to join us as we grow. We pride ourselves on putting the quality of teaching and teachers at the very centre of what we do. We seek to recruit the very best candidates whether they are experienced or new to the profession.
Most teachers start in September but opportunities do arise at different points in the year.
To find the best teachers, we keep recruitment open all year and we review applications as we receive them. Your early application is encouraged.
