Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our team from 1 September 2025. This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) but is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional looking to contribute to a vibrant and supportive school community.

About the Role

The Class Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and the Teachers’ Standards. You will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our pupils, ensuring they receive engaging and well-structured lessons in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
  • Set high expectations for both behaviour and achievement.
  • Support pupils in preparing for external assessments.

Whole-School Organisation & Development

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Support and uphold the school’s vision, values, and ethos.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum and student development.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher with experience at MPS or UPS level.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to professional growth and high-quality education.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and child protection procedures.
