“Inspiring today to achieve tomorrow.”
We are a successful, thriving and happy community school situated in the beautiful market town of Wetherby in West Yorkshire. We were judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted and are proud of our deep affiliation with the local community. We work hard to achieve our outstanding results and rank in the top 5% of schools nationally for attainment and the top 2% of schools for progress, by the end of Key Stage Two. The academic success of our children is just one part of what we work to achieve at Crossley Street and we provide a wide-range of extra-curricular opportunities for our children, from clubs such as Lego, Mindfulness, Table Tennis and Touch Typing; to outdoor learning opportunities such as Den Building, Forest Schools and our Eco Club.
“At Crossley Street, respect and positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our inclusive and nurturing environment empowers every child to embrace challenge, be ambitious and develop a lifelong love of learning. We aspire to reach beyond our own doorstep to widen opportunities within the community, whilst developing a better understanding of the environment we share. In doing so, we will further develop independence and resilience in our learners.”
